Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Mapinjo app during its invitation-only beta, operated by Ömer Selçok, an individual developer ("we"). On Google Play, Mapinjo appears under the public developer name Ominova Studio — a public-facing brand of the same individual developer, not a company or separate legal entity. You must be 18 or older to use Mapinjo, and registration requires confirming this.
1. The beta program
Mapinjo is pre-release software provided for testing. Features may change, break, or be removed; the service may be interrupted at any time. When the beta program ends, your account and content are not automatically migrated or deleted: we will notify you in advance of any material change, migration or shutdown, and your in-app account-deletion right remains available at all times. Participation is personal, by invitation, and may be withdrawn.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy → Account & deletion; deletion is permanent (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed and the small backup window).
3. Your content and license to us
You keep ownership of everything you create. You grant us the limited, non-exclusive license needed to host, store, process and display your content solely to operate the service — e.g. showing your public trips in the feed, your stories to their permitted audience, and your contributions to your trip's members. The license to a piece of content ends when you delete it, subject to the backup window and the anonymized collaborative contributions described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, deceptive or sexually exploitative; not to impersonate others; not to attempt to access other users' private data; and not to probe, overload or disrupt the service. During the beta there is no in-app report/block tool yet: report problems or problem content through Settings → Beta feedback or to support@mapinjo.com (mailbox being set up — [PENDING ACTIVATION]), and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Third-party services
Maps and place data are provided through Google Maps/Places and are subject to Google's terms. Beta distribution runs through Apple TestFlight or Google Play and their terms apply alongside these.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The beta is provided "as is", without warranties of availability, accuracy (including place information and travel data) or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for damages arising from beta use is excluded; nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Termination
You may stop using Mapinjo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate beta access for violation of these terms or when the beta program ends.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. This choice does not override mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights that apply to you in your place of residence.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms during the beta and will note the date above and announce material changes in the app. Contact: support@mapinjo.com ([PENDING ACTIVATION]).
